Traveling with my family has brought many educational and growth experiences for each one in the family.

It started with the desire to show our children new places and became so much more. It turned into connecting with old friends. Trying new foods. Experiencing cultures that we have only read about. Going to places that taught us about history, art, and science.

We have learned patience, kindness, and compassion for others through observed differences but being the odd ones in the room as the different ones. Also, realizing so many similarities with others and their compassion and willingness to help us.

The appreciation for communication or struggle to communicate.

A love for life as we learned about the past.

We learned to work together, always.
